I have been a member of the NPA, Northern Potters association, for 15+ years. I cannot praise them highly enough for the Newsletter, produced every two months, which has been a lifeline in earlier days. I have met a lot of good people and have found potters to be generous of spirit and willing to help if they can. I had Potfest in the Pens 3rd, 4th and 5th August. Potfest is at Penrith Auction Mart, Penrith - 100 yards west of junction 40 off the M6, on the edge of Britain’s beautiful Lake District. (Postcode for Sat Navs - CA11 0DN) For details see www.potfest.co.uk  I also have work in Appleby Tourist Information Centre and this year I have joined the EVAN, (Eden Valley Artistic  Network) Gallery in Penrith (near the Town Hall). This shows signs of being a good place to be and I hope it continues. The Gallery is open 10am until 4pm, closed Sunday and Monday. I took part for the 5th year in an exhibition in Greystoke Church, with 3 or 4 Cumbrian artists including Christine Hurford, Janis Young and myself from the beginning of June 2018. It is an old, large and beautiful church and is open 1am until 4pm for all. Contact me for further details.

Christmas 2018 Fair at Rheged, Penrith

I   attended   the   Christmas   Fair,   organised   by   EVAN,   Eden   Valley   Artistic   Network,   at   Rheged   on   the   8th   of   December.     It   was   well   attended   with   quite   a   good   footfall.      Pleasant   surroundings   and   warm.      It   was   a   fun   day   and   quite   a   lot of interest was shown in my work, including the new fruit bowls and nice chatting to a previous cat bowl customer.
